TermsEx is a mobile application and web service that provides AI-powered analysis and summarization of legal documents, terms of service, privacy policies, and other text-based documents. Our service includes:

• Document upload and processing (PDF, TXT, HTML/URL)
• AI-generated summaries and analysis of legal documents
• iOS share extension for quick document processing from Safari and other browsers
• Secure document storage and retrieval
• User account management and authentication

You agree to use TermsEx only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Upload or process documents containing illegal content, malware, or viruses
• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international laws or regulations
• Transmit or procure the sending of any advertising or promotional material without our prior written consent
• Impersonate or attempt to impersonate the company, a company employee, another user, or any other person or entity
• Use the service in any manner that could disable, overburden, damage, or impair the service
• Use any robot, spider, or other automatic device to access the service for any purpose without our express written permission
• Upload documents that infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the service or any other systems or networks

• No Legal Advice: Our AI-generated summaries and analyses do not constitute legal advice and should not be relied upon as such
• Accuracy Not Guaranteed: While we aim for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or misinterpretations
• Professional Consultation: For legal matters, always consult with qualified legal professionals
• User Responsibility: You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of any AI-generated content before making decisions based on it
• No Warranty: We provide no warranty regarding the completeness, accuracy, or reliability of AI-generated summaries

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

• We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data
• Original uploaded files are deleted after processing
• You can delete your documents and account data at any time
• We use third-party services (Supabase, OpenRouter, Resend) as described in our Privacy Policy

• We strive to maintain service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access
• We may temporarily suspend service for maintenance, updates, or technical issues
• We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time
• We are not liable for any service interruptions or data loss that may occur

• Service Provided "As Is": TermsEx is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind
• No Consequential Damages: We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Maximum Liability: Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall not exceed $100
• AI Content Limitations: We are not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated summaries or analyses
• Third-Party Services: We are not responsible for the actions or policies of third-party services we integrate with

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TermsEx and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from:

• Your use or misuse of the service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of the rights of any third party
• Any content you upload or process through the service

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
